Did you know ❓ that a health issue commonly seen in unspayed intact females are mammary tumors, aka breast cancer? 😱

Dogs spayed prior to their first heat have only a 0.5% risk of developing mammary tumor. However, after a first or second heat, this dramatically increases to a risk of 8% and 26%, respectively. Also, the risk of tumor development significantly increases once a dog reaches 7 years of age and above! 😢

Please make sure to spay your pets guys, so they don’t have to go through big surgeries like this later in their lives! 👨‍⚕️
