It can be hard to make new friends, but here's some tips on how to socializing your furbaby:
🏡 Safe Space. Place your pet in a carrier or create a barrier that prohibits your pet from actually physically contacting the animal, but still allows for both pets to see, smell and hear each other.
💚 Keep Calm. If your pet is showing signs of aggression or fear, we recommend using Wellnergy Pets Calming Chews, available on Amazon, to help relieve their anxiety.
🦴 Treats. Once your pet is calm & happy, give them a small reward of their favorite food or treat. Be sure to give them lots of verbal praise and affection when they're not barking or trying to get to the new friend, as this will show them that you are accepting of the new pet's presence and you expect them to be also.
